Southeast Way from Ourense

The Camino de Santiago from Ourense is a less-travelled route of pilgrimage. It offers a quieter and more authentic experience, ideal for those seeking a deep connection with history, nature and spirituality.

Ourense is the magical province of Galicia, where the Vía de la Plata (Silver's Route) enters the region and it couldn't be any better: a unique climate, immense native forests, natural thermal pools and some of the most fun traditions in Galicia.

What is included?

• Accommodation in rural houses:
• 5 nights on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner) along the Camino.
• 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis in Ourense and Santiago de Compostela.
• Transfer from the end of each stage to the rural house and back (when necessary).
• Luggage transfer during the stages. 1 piece of maximum 15 kg per person.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at your own to Ourense.

• Hotel accommodation in the center of Ourense.

Day 2: Stage 1 "Ourense - San Cristovo de Cea (22.90km)

• After breakfast, start of the pilgrimage to San Cristovo de Cea.
• Dinner and accommodation in a rural tourism house in the area of ​​San Cristovo de Cea.

Day 3: Stage 2 "San Cristovo de Cea - Dozón" (15 km)

• Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage to Dozón.
• Dinner and accommodation in a rural tourism house in the area of ​​Dozón.

Day 4: Stage 3 "Dozón - Bendoiro" (18.60 km)

• Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage to Bendoiro.
• Dinner and accommodation in a rural tourism house in the area of ​​Bendoiro.

Day 5: Stage 4 "Bendoiro - A Bandeira" (15.10km)

• Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage to A Bandeira.
• Dinner and accommodation in a rural tourism house in the area of ​​A Bandeira.

Day 6: Stage 5 "A Bandeira - Outeiro" (17km)

• Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage to Ponte Ulla/Outeiro.
• Dinner and accommodation in a rural tourism house in the area of ​​Ponte Ulla/Outeiro.

Day 7: Stage 5 "Outeiro - Santiago de Compostela" (16.70km)

• Breakfast and last stage of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
• Accommodation in a hotel in the city centre of Santiago de Compostela.

Day 8: Santiago de Compostela

• Breakfast and end of the programme.
