Description
Portuguese Way from Tui on 6 stages in hotels / guest house
Still relatively unknown to many, the Portuguese Way is the chosen route for nearly 8000 pilgrims each year. It remains a less crowded path, allowing you to enjoy it even during the peak pilgrim seasons.
The first references to this route date back to the 12th century, following Portugal's independence. The Camino followed the ancient Roman roads and served as a unifying element during centuries of political and social dispersion.
This path originates in Lisbon, the capital of the neighboring country, and enters Galicia through the town of Tui, where our adventure will begin. With a little over 100 km ahead, you'll have the opportunity to request the Compostela if you wish.
During the seven nights, you'll be accommodated in hotels or guesthouses, and you'll start each day with a hearty breakfast. After each stage, we'll transport your backpack to the accommodation, and you'll enjoy a well-deserved dinner to recharge your energy.
