English Way from Ferrol in hotels/pensions

The English Way (Camino Inglés) is a historic pilgrimage route that starts from the ports of northern Spain, mainly Ferrol and A Coruña, and ends in Santiago de Compostela. This route was traditionally walked by pilgrims from the British Isles and other northern European countries.

It was the route followed by pilgrims from the Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands, the north of France but mainly from England, Ireland and Scotland. After a sea journey, they docked in the ports of Ribadeo, Viveiro, A Coruña or Ferrol, in the gulf known as the Artabro Sea.

This Camino presents an intermediate level of difficulty. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to stay in hotels or pensions at the end of each stage.

The English Way is a perfect option for those looking for a less traveled route, combining nature, history and culture in a route of approximately 120 kilometers starting from Ferrol. So, at the end of your pilgrimage, you will be able to receive your Compostela (the Pilgrim's Certificate).
