The French Way is the most recognized pilgrimage route, both nationally and internationally. It is the most chosen for more than half of the pilgrims and this is because it has all the necessary facilities and an excellent infrastructure.

From Galicia Incoming we have created a budget-friendly version of the last 100km of this route, with a duration of 1 week in which you will stay in hotel with room and private bathroom. You will also enjoy breakfast and luggage transfer service.

It is perfect for small groups, families and also for people who travel alone, with total security, privacy and in an economical way.

  • Stays in hotel-type accommodation or pensions on the Camino:
  • 5 nights of bed and breakfast accommodation along the Camino.  
  • 1 night of hotel accommodation in Santiago de Compostela on a bed and breakfast basis. 
  • Luggage transfer during the stages: 1 piece of luggage per person (max. 15kg/package).
  • Shell and Pilgrim's Credential.
  • Basic inclusion insurance.
  • VAT.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at your own to Sarria. 
Accommodation and breakfast in Sarria.

Day 2: Stage 1 "Sarria - Portomarín" (22 km).
After breakfast, start of the pilgrimage.
Accommodation and hotel/pension in Portomarín.

Day 3: Stage 2 "Portomarín - Palas de Rei" (24 Km).
Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage.
Accommodation and hotel/pension in Palas de Rei.

Day 4: Stage 3 "Palas de Rei - Arzúa" (28 Km).
Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage.
Accommodation and hotel/pension in Arzúa.

Day 5: Stage 4 "Arzúa - O Pino" (19 Km).
Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage.
Accommodation and hotel/pension in O Pino.

Day 6: Stage 5 "O Pino - Santiago de Compostela" (19 Km). 
After breakfast, continuation of the pilgrimage. Last stage where you will finally reach Santiago de Compostela.
Accommodation and hotel/pension in Santiago de Compostela.

Day 7: Santiago de Compostela.
Breakfast and check-out.

*The distance of the stages is approximate. The end of the stage may change depending on the location of the accommodation and the transfer pick up place.
