Fisterra and Muxía Way

Although the religious pilgrimage ends the city of Santiago, the Camino continues to the west! The Camino de Santiago from Finisterre to Muxía is a beautiful extension of the pilgrimage along the Galician Atlantic coast for 120km of pilgrimage.

Sometimes, the most remote traditions are revived in the present to remember almost forgotten rites. You will enjoy the towns of Finisterre (end's land) and Muxía, places so rich in history and legends, which will offer you a deep cultural and spiritual legacy, intertwined with the tradition of the Camino de Santiago.

What is included?

  • Accommodation in rural houses / Hotels.
  • 5 nights accommodation on a half-board basis (dinner and breakfast) on the Camino de Santiago.
  • 3 nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis in: Santiago de Compostela, Finisterre and Muxía.
  • Luggage transfer during the stages: 1 piece per person (max. 15kg/luggage)

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at your own to Santiago de Compostela
  • Accommodation in hotel in the city center of Santiago de Compostela.

Day 2: Stage 1 "Santiago de Compostela - Negreira" (21.50 km).

  • After breakfast, beginning of the pilgrimage to Negreira.
  • Dinner and accommodation in Negreira.

Day 3: Stage 2 "Negreira - Marco do Cornado" (15 km).

  • After breakfast, continuation of the route to O Cornado.
  • Dinner and accommodation in the area of O Cornado.

Day 4: Stage 3 "Marco do Cornado - Olveiroa" (18.60 km).

  • After breakfast, continuation of the route to Olveiroa.
  • Dinner and accommodation in area of Olveiroa.

Day 5: Stage 4 "Olveiros - Cee" (19.30 km).

  • After breakfast, continuation of the route to Cee.
  • Dinner and accommodation in Cee. 

Day 6: Stage 5 "Cee - Cabo Fisterra" (16.50 km).

  • After breakfast, continuation of the route to Cabo Fisterra.
  • Accommodation in Fisterra. 

Day 7: Stage 6 "Fisterra - Lires" (13.40 km)

  • Breakfast and continuation of the pilgrimage to Lires.
  • Dinner and accommodation in the area of Lires. 

Day 8: Stage 7 "Lires - Muxía" (14,60 Km). 

  • After breakfast, last walking day to Muxía.
  • Accommodation in Muxía.

Day 9: Muxía

  • Breakfast and end of our services.


* Distances of the stages are approximate. The final stage location may change depending on the accommodations' location and transfer.
