Description
Bono Iacobus - Portugese Way
For centuries, the Portuguese people have begun their pilgrimage from their main cities (Lisbon, Prague, Braga or Coimbra) to Santiago de Compostela: this is how the Portuguese Way originated
This pilgrimage route re-emerged at the end of the 20th century, when it was correctly marked with the yellow arrow and adapted to pilgrims. It is currently the second most chosen route: an average of 75,000 people enjoy this route every year.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy this experience with Bono Iacobus. It is a tourist service specifically designed for the Camino de Santiago. It will allow you to travel the different stages of this path staying each day in a rural tourism house.
Bordering the Rías de Vigo and Pontevedra, this route combines mountains and sea and passes by landscapes of breathtaking beauty. You will live a truly authentic experience, ended each day with a warm welcome in the rural tourism houses.
