Description

Bono Iacobus Portugese Way

From the main Portuguese population centers (Lisbon, Porto, Braga, or Coimbra), the Portuguese set off on their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, giving rise to the current Portuguese Way.

This route began to regain popularity in the late 20th century when it was properly signposted and adapted for future pilgrims. It has now become the second most popular route. Over 34,000 people enjoyed this route in the last recorded year before the pandemic, with an average of 75,000 people before 2020.

With this package, you will have the opportunity to travel it with the Bono Iacobus. This is a tourist service specifically designed for the Camino de Santiago. It allows you to travel the stages of this journey, staying each day in a different rural tourism house.
