Description

Bono Iacobus - the French Way

The Bono Iacobus is a tourist service specifically designed for pilgrims, allowing you to travel the 7 stages of the Camino Francés while staying in rural tourism houses.

Despite not being the oldest, the Camino Francés has been the most traveled route for many years. This makes it a path that offers all the necessary services, a significant number of pilgrims to provide companionship, support, and guidance, as well as well-maintained roads. This route was recognized by the Council of Europe in 1987 as the "First European Cultural Route" and distinguished by UNESCO in 1993 as a "World Heritage Site." In 2004, it was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Concord.

Although it originates in France, hence its name, this path enters Galicia through an ascending trail that reaches its highest point at O Cebreiro. And it is there that this 1-week experience will begin for you.

Throughout the entire Galician route, you can enjoy the hospitality of the people, a rich and varied gastronomy, and significant artistic heritage.
